I think I know where capn crunch cereal got its flavor inspiration.. introducing strawberry tree berry aka Jamaican cherry.

This little berry (Muntingia calabura) is a unique tropical fruit that grows on a bushy tree. It's called strawberry tree berry because the flowers look similar to strawberry flowers, but they are not related.

Some people say it tastes mildly like cotton candy. I think it is almost like Captain Crunch cereal.

These berries do not last long once they are picked which is why we freeze them.

Now you can get strawberry tree berries hand-picked from our farm shipped directly to your door and you can defrost them and eat them as is or add them to your smoothies.
