This product is lower grade soursop for juicing. If you want premium soursop for eating raw, we recommend ordering the Premium Soursop Box. When using soursop for juice or smoothies, you MUST remove the seeds first. Do not blend or juice the seeds!!
Every week we sort out the soursop harvests by quality grade. Premium and not premium (#2). We ship the premium soursop to our soursop box and overnight and premium variety box customers. The #2 soursop usually gets resold to a grocery store. We want to make the non premium (#2 soursop) available to our customers who are interested in purchasing soursop for juicing. The #2 soursop are not always great quality for eating raw, but they can still be made into a delicious juice or smoothie when ripe. You can also cook unripe soursop to make an alkaline plant based seafood alternative.

Soursop is a fruit native to south and central America. It grows in the Caribbean and very recently began growing in Miami. It is in the same genus, Annona, as cherimoya and is in the Annonaceae family.
The flavour has been described as a combination of strawberry and pineapple, with sour citrus flavour notes contrasting with an underlying creamy flavour reminiscent of coconut or banana. Juicing soursop is typically more sour and herbal tasting than sweet premium soursop.
Soursop is widely promoted (sometimes as "graviola") as an alternative cancer treatment.
The total weight of each box varies depending on the size, shape, and mass of the fruit:
- Small Box contains up to 3-6 pounds of fruit
- Large Box contains up to 8-12 pounds.
- Extra Large Box contains up to 16-24 pounds.
- Bulk Box contains up to 34-44 pounds.
We ALWAYS recommend ordering a LARGE BOX for the best value, when compared to a Small Box. Because shipping, handling, and delivery are so expensive per package, the Large Box will contain more fruit and ultimately a better value.
