Description
Origin: Pouteria Sapota, the Mamey Sapote, is a fruit native to Mexico and Central America. Our Mamey Sapote is grown on small sustainable farms in South Florida!
Flavor Profile: The flavor is comparable to a sweet potato mixed with pumpkin pie, and it has a texture similar to an avocado when ripe. This fruit makes a great meal on its own. It can also be made into a refreshing smoothie or satisfying pie!
How To Eat: Mamey may need time to ripen at room temperature of 70 degrees or above after delivery. You'll know it's ripe when it is very soft all over. Once ripe, cut open and enjoy the orange pulp.
First come first serve, any orders that can't be shipped this season will be reserved for next season.
