Custard apple season is about to peak!
Now is a great time to place an order if you want to get custard apple this year.
There are many varieties of annona reticulata. Some varieties have green skin that turns yellow when it’s ripe. We have a separate box for these called “green custard apple”.
Green custard apples will be ready to harvest soon, but they’re more limited than the red ones.
Some custard apple varieties have red skin and dark red flesh inside, others have red skin and a mix of pink and white flesh inside, and some have red skin and are white inside.
If you order a custard apple box, you may get one or multiple varieties depending on what’s ready to harvest.
For optimal ripeness, please make sure this fruit is very soft before eating. It should be soft enough to open easily with your bare hands.
