The tropical persimmons at our farm are ready to harvest!
They're sweet like brown sugar and honey and taste great with a hint of cinnamon. This fruit represents the flavor of autumn in my opinion.
They go great in smoothies, baked goods, and of course, on their own!
This variety in particular cannot be eaten unripe/crunchy. You must wait until it is soft all over like a tomato before eating.
