It's longan season in South Florida! This sweet little fruit sort of tastes like butterscotch candy. It's related to lychee and rambutan.
We are feeling so lucky to have a small crop of these delicious longans on our trees right now.
They're ready to eat as soon as they're harvested. You can eat the longans immediately and/or refrigerate any left over.
