It's longan season in South Florida! This sweet little fruit sort of tastes like butterscotch candy. It's related to lychee and rambutan.
We are so lucky to have an abundance of these delicious longans on our trees right now.
They're ready to eat as soon as they're harvested. You can eat the longans right away and/or refrigerate any left over.
