Some varieties may not fully change color or get spots when ripe, the best way to tell when a banana is ripe is by softness.

Couldn’t have been happier with this one! Came really quick & the quality of everything was top notch. There’s no chance in finding this variety and quality where I’m located in the Northeast! Worth every penny.
