Even though Ecuador produces less than 10% of the world's cacao (cocoa), the country produces more than 70% of the world's highest quality cacao.
Ecuador’s high quality cacao can be attributed to its perfect mix of terrain, climate and equatorial location.
We also have the farmers to thank for being meticulous about pruning, mulching, and watering only once every two weeks to keep fungus down.
