End of January Harvest Update 🌈

Welcome to our weekly find out what's in the variety box + harvest update + banana variety box identification email.

Tropical fruit comes in all shapes and sizes. Each box we pack is slightly different due to the size, shape, weight, and availability of each fruit.

Our small boxes are one layer of fruit and our large boxes are two layers separated by a compostable "pillow".

Bananas grow year-round here in Tropical South Florida, but each week there are different varieties ready to harvest.

Some varieties may not fully change color or get spots when ripe, the best way to tell when a banana is ripe is by softness.

Due to inclement weather across the U.S., we only shipped fruit to Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina this week to prevent frozen packages and delays. We intend to resume shipping to all other states as usual next week.

Sapodilla is richly sweet with notes of brown sugar, caramel, and pear. Its soft yet slightly grainy texture makes it a comforting fruit to enjoy fresh or blended into drinks and desserts.
