It's longan season in South Florida! This sweet little fruit sort of tastes like butterscotch candy. It's related to lychee mamoncillo, and rambutan.
We are feeling so lucky to have these delicious longans on our trees right now.
They're ready to eat as soon as they're harvested. You can eat the longans immediately and/or refrigerate any left over.
