This large late season variety has a strong, sweet, fruity flavor with a hint of tartness.
This variety is named after Mrs. J.N. Keitt who planted a seed in her Homestead, Florida backyard in 1939.
Please remember to let your mangos get very soft before consuming them, as they will be best this way! It may stay partially green on the outside when ripe so always go by softness.
Mangos are best eaten by themselves outside or over the kitchen sink, but they also taste great blended in smoothies or into salad dressings.
