This rare variety is one of the sweetest and most fragrant longans we have ever had. Expect a unique and rich, syrupy flavor with notes of wildflower honey and white grape. It is often described as nature’s dessert, refreshing, floral, and deeply satisfying.
Longans are part of the soapberry family and are closely related to lychees, mamoncillos, and rambutans. Diamond River is less tart than lychee and more aromatic than other longans.
