Origin: PPC Atemoya is from the Annona genus, a cross between sugar apple (Annona squamosa) and cherimoya (Annona cherimola). It thrives in tropical and subtropical regions and is now cultivated in South Florida, where the climate supports optimal sweetness and texture.
Flavor Profile: PPC Atemoya is creamy, custard-like, and incredibly fragrant. The flavor is a rich blend of vanilla and pineapple with hints of banana and pear. It’s smoother and less seedy than sugar apple, making it a favorite among Annona lovers.
Atemoya is celebrated for its high antioxidant content and may support cellular repair and immune health. Like other Annona fruits, it contains bioactive compounds being studied for their wellness benefits.
How To Eat: Let the fruit soften before cutting it open. Scoop out the white flesh with a spoon and enjoy. Be sure to avoid the seeds and the rind. Best eaten chilled for an extra-refreshing treat.

The total weight of the box varies depending on the size, shape, and mass of the fruit:
- One Fruit contains 1 piece of fruit (sizing varies)
- One Fruit (JUMBO) contains 1 piece of fruit (1.5lbs or greater)
- Small Box contains up to 3-6 pounds
- Large Box contains up to 8-12 pounds
We ALWAYS recommend ordering a LARGE BOX for the best value, when compared to a Small Box. Because shipping, handling, and delivery are so expensive per package, the Large Box will contain more fruit and ultimately a better value.
