Dried Soursop (annona muricata) Leaves are now available! The leaves were harvested from local trees in South Florida and air dried. You can steep them in hot water to make an herbal tea or add them to smoothies for a nutrient boost.
You may notice some mineral residue on the leaves from high levels of calcium in the water. Florida ground water often percolates through limestone where it picks up calcium and magnesium deposits. Water described as "hard" is high in dissolved minerals, specifically calcium and magnesium. Hard water is not a health risk, but a nuisance because the mineral buildup often leaves a residue. Just give the leaves a good rinse before using to remove any mineral residue.
