This post went viral this week on our instagram page. We think it might have gone viral because you can't find long neck avos in the store since they are not commercially grown so not many people have ever seen this variety before. Here in South Florida, farmers take pride in growing rare varieties. Many even travel the world looking for seeds to bring back to the states to try to grow. This variety in particular originated in Nicaragua and is now grown small scale here in South Florida by fruit enthusiasts.
