We squeeze the juice into hot water in the morning to help break up any buildup in the digestive tract and aid the body during its primary elimination period (the morning). Whether you’ve been raw vegan for decades or still eat meat, you will receive benefits from consuming limes regularly. We put a lil lime juice in our Guac also. DRINK LIME JUICE SHOTS DAILY.
Limes can be used as a natural acne medication. Even if you don’t have acne, they’re great to just wash your face with in general. Limes also make a good shower soap. (Make sure you don’t have phytophotodermatitis before doing this).
Limes contain calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, iron, and copper. They contain Ascorbic acid, beta-carotene, alpha-tocopherol, phylloquinone, thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, pyridoxine, and folate. Some may refer to these as vitamin A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, C, E, and K.
Limes increase Iron absorption. Iron is an essential mineral for your blood. When you consume limes, it helps you absorb iron more efficiently. This is due to their high content of Ascorbic acid, or what people refer to as Vitamin C.
Limes are loaded with flavonoid antioxidants, which suppress the growth or spread of a plethora of different types of cancer cells.
