Origin: Purple Passionfruit is indigenous to parts of Argentina, Paraguay, and Brazil.
Flavor Profile: The Passionfruit is a pepo, a type of berry, round to oval, either yellow or dark purple at maturity, with a soft to firm, juicy interior filled with numerous seeds. This small pinkish-purple variety is sweet with a touch of sour.
How To Eat: It's ripe/ready to eat when the shell becomes wrinkly all over! If you enjoy a more sour flavor you will want to open the fruit when the skin is smooth, but for a sweeter flavor open them when wrinkly. Passionfruit is both eaten and juiced; passion fruit juice is often added to other fruit juices to enhance aroma. Add passionfruit to your favorite smoothie or spread on top of some papaya for an ultimate combination!
First come first serve, any orders that can't be shipped this season will be reserved for next season.
The total weight of the box varies depending on the size, shape, and mass of the fruit:
- One Fruit contains 1 piece of fruit (sizing varies)
- Small Box contains up to 3-5 pounds
- Large Box contains up to 8-10 pounds
- Extra Large Box contains up to 16-20 pounds
- Bulk Box contains up to 34-40 pounds
We ALWAYS recommend ordering a LARGE BOX for the best value, when compared to a Small Box. Because shipping, handling, and delivery are so expensive per package, the Large Box will contain more fruit and ultimately a better value.

I'm so glad to have discovered a way to get high quality tropical fruit here in the rainy PNW. I gave some away to family members because there was too much for me to consume in two weeks (my husband does not appreciate the texture of passionfruit!). However, that was probably unnecessary because I've been eating 4-5 of these every day!

I went back to my childhood when I was cutting these passion fruit. The smell, the feel and the juiciness were so amazing that I was in my happy place for one hour. I have a baking business and I use the passion fruit to do a coulis. Miami Fruit was super quick to deliver these and they arrived in mint condition. Out of the 50 passion fruit I received I would say that I only got 3 rotten (that were only noticeable when you would cut them). I will definitely put this order on repeat!

These passion fruits are the best I've had, maybe even better than ones in Hawaii! Not only are these purple passion fruit super juicy, they aren't as sour, still tart.. but more fruity and balanced. You will want to eat more of these than you think! The purple passion fruit is delicious on yogurt or bananas, as part of an acai bowl, juice, carbonated fruit beverage, fruit curd, cheesecake, and so on. I have literally endless useless for this amazing flavor! You will also note these passion fruit are bigger than the ones found in the store, and if you buy a large box, it really makes them a lot more reasonable fruit, best of all you can freeze the extras whole!
This is a large box and it contained about 50 passion fruits. They taste exactly like sour patch kids!! Let them ripen on your counter and they will last about another week in the fridge. You can. Also freeze any extras!

I ordered both the Purple and Yellow Passionfruit. Previously I've been a purple sort of guy but the yellow ones were excellent this time around. I can generally find a lot of varieties of fruit at local grocery and ethnic stores but I can never find passionfruit. I made a syrup out of the more sour ones for drinks and to top off some vanilla ice cream.
