Origin: Does this fruit taste like your childhood? Mamoncillo originates from South America, but grows here in South Florida in very limited quantities. This fruit is also very popular in Central America and the Caribbean. Indigenous people of the Caribbean and South America (Tainos and Mayans to name a few) called them “Kenep” which is why many countries have names that sound similar or rhyme with it. Almost every country has a different name for them. Some common names are: Guinep, Limoncillo, Kenep, Quenepa, Chenette, Mamon, Huaya and more!
Flavor Profile: The flavor is tangy and sweet- similar to limeade. The look of it is similar to a longan or lychee but the texture is softer. It’s like a lime flavored lychee with a hint of peach.
How To Eat: They’re freshly picked every week when in season (July-September) and shipped to your doorstep. Mamoncillo will arrive ready to eat immediately upon delivery. consume right away or refrigerate to preserve shelf life.
First come first serve, any orders that can't be shipped this season will be reserved for next season.
The total weight of each box varies depending on the size, shape, and mass of the fruit:
One Pound contains up to 1 pound
Small Box contains up to 3-5 pounds
Large Box contains up to 8-10 pounds
We ALWAYS recommend ordering a LARGE BOX for the best value, when compared to a Small Box. Because shipping, handling, and delivery are so expensive per package, the Large Box will contain more fruit and ultimately a better value.

The Fruit was young very small and not ready for harvest. I grew up eating these and had just had some from the home (The Bahamas) a few weeks ago. These were not worth the money spent. I wouldn’t say I wouldn’t purchase again. But It won’t be another blind purchase. It’s not a bad review of the company just an unhappy review of the quality control of the fruit I purchased. Shipping and packaging was fast and great. Customer service is really good! I do appreciate having access to Caribbean Fruit. Please don’t hesitate to try I may have gotten a bad batch.
This is exactly what I been wanting. I had moved to the US from 🇵🇦 panama and couldn't find mamoncillo anywhere. It definitely brought my childhood back to me. Thank you. I order the 10lb box
My wife is from the islands and she's been wanting to order these mamonsillos. She was in absolute heaven and ate every single one we ordered. I was lucky to get a few before she ate them all. I recommend ordering these and we will definitely be ordering these again.

I have been looking everywhere for the
Mamoncillo (Guinep) Box. Other sites said they had it, but not until next year. What, that’s crazy!! Thank goodness I found Miami Fruit. I was super excited to not only place the order but I was thrilled when it arrived!!! Best. Fruit. Ever. Thank you to all of the growers & the staff for making this girl happy as can be!!!
I enjoyed this, but the only issue I had was that it was a bit small. It wasn’t overly sweet, but overall, I love fruits, so I ended up eating it all. I bought a large box and myself and my children, devoured it all in the box. Thank you, Miami Fruits!
The mamoncillo was absolutely wonderful. I kept the seeds and am hoping to grow some myself. The only question I had was that the mamoncillo fruit I received was quite a bit smaller than the mamoncillo in the picture. I wonder if there are different types of mamoncillo.
Mimi fruit is a dream come true. Guenepas are from PR and to be able to grow them here in the states and ship overnight is the treat to end all treats. Especially to Puerto Ricans. There other fruit is equally as fantastic and I highly recommend them.
These were by far the best we have ever eaten! I don’t know what’s different but the fruit tasted so much better than what we usually get from other sources. Great job to the team!
Deliscious, perfect snack. Juicy and sweet with a sour kick, plus they’re fun to eat. The fruit was FRESH, and the taste was better than candy, I promise you. Don’t deliberate, lol, you won’t be disappointed if you get them, but get the large box, they go fast. 💕
I live in The Bahamas and these were in season here as well....my sister lives in Pennsylvania and she hasn't been home while these were in season in YEARS! I surprised her with a box and she called me crying...she was so.excited to be able to enjoy one of her favourite native fruits. We call them guinep here.
