Description
South Florida grows over 50 varieties of avocados. We cannot guarantee your box will have the varieties pictured, but we will send you the highest quality avocados we have in season.
This box may contain one or a mix of varieties, depending on what is available the week we ship your box. A mix is not guaranteed.
Most Florida avocado varieties' skin does not turn color when ripe. The skin is smooth and green. The flesh is gold, soft yet pliable, high in moisture content with a melting quality. The fruit has a large central pit, yet because of the fruit's size (often weighing over a pound), but the edible yield is still high.
How To Eat: Store at room temperature of 70 degrees or above until soft all over. Once soft all over, eat or refrigerate to preserve shelf life.
First come first serve, any orders that can't be shipped this season will be reserved for next season.
The total weight of each box varies depending on the size, shape, and mass of the fruit:
- One Fruit contains one piece of fruit (sizing varies)
- Small Box contains up to 3-5 pounds
- Large Box contains up to 8-10 pounds
- Extra Large Box contains up to 16-20 pounds

Bulk Box contains up to 34-40 pounds
We ALWAYS recommend ordering a LARGE BOX for the best value, when compared to a Small Box. Because shipping, handling, and delivery are so expensive per package, the Large Box will contain more fruit and ultimately a better value.

These avocados are ginormous! They were so delicious diced up, turned into guacamole, and even chocolate pudding!
Soooo delicious. Just be sure everyone loves avocados in your family because my 6 huge avocados were all ripe on the same two days! Guacamole on tostadas at night, avocado with fresh cherry tomatoes and bacon for breakfast!!

I love having the opportunity to eat a variety of bananas rather than the large, blander, Cavendish. It takes me back to fresh produce I’ve enjoyed in Costa Rica and the Philippines. These are not available locally, and they are shipped directly to my door and well-packed.
Excellent quality and consistency. Best avocados we've had in a long time. They all came in varying ripeness so we were able to enjoy them over time. Highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
Look forward to summer months when I can get mangoes and avocados from Miami Fruit. There is just no comparison to such fruit from South Florida and that from anyplace else. As usual, the long neck avocados were well packed and in great condition on arrival. When they ripened, perfect.
Huge Avocados, they didn’t come ripe Which was great because it gave me plenty of time to eat them before they would go bad.
I saw Miami fruit on someone’s IG and I thought it would be a fun idea to get a shipment. Ordered the large box of avocado and in season fruit for every four months. We are so thrilled with the fruit taste and quality. These are mostly items we have never tried before, so we are learning something also. I highly recommend placing at least one order to test it out, but I believe you will love it as much as we do and order again.

Well, I did misunderstand what the box would be - I was expecting more than 1 avocado for the price, this was my first order. However, this avocado was beautiful and huge and perfectly ripened within a couple of days. So huge, it's worth 2-3 regular avocados, and with that possibly the most delicious and best avocado I've ever eaten! I'll definitely be ordering again and also trying other friuts. So happy I found this company!

My 2d box of longneck avocados arrived in perfect condition. First one ripened today, and dressed up my dinner salad. When they ripen faster than they can be eaten, I mash up the fruit and mix in some lemon juice, then fill up a pint size freezer bags, flattening the bags to get the air out, and freeze to make guacamole later.
I love these avocados! Always taste so good.

These were extraordinarily good, but all ripened simultaneously. That was a bit more than I could handle, so some were past their prime by the time I got them.
All my avocado were in prime condition and all became ripe within a week of arrival. So good that I ate most of them right out of the peel. Looking forward to next month.

A bit pricey shipping but I loved the taste of Florida avocados !!!
I had been reading about the avocado problems in Mexico. How the drug cartels are taking over and even kidnapping Avocado growers. I wanted to support avocados grown in America. I bought an avocado box for 50$. I got my avocados, and the shipping label said that it contained two avocados. I thought to my self, “This is ridiculous. No avocado is worth 25$ each.”. Then I opened the package. The avocados were huge. They were each the size of a cantaloupe. I thought to myself, “I stand corrected. These are worth 25$ each.”. I cut one open myself, and couldn’t finish it. I gave one to a friend as a gift, and he used to to make all his guacamole for last years super-bowl party. He only needed that one avocado for his entire party. I’ve also bought bananas for years, and the quality has been spectacular. Most store bought fruit is picked green, then shipped for weeks and ripens on the way. You will never realize what fruit is supposed to taste like until you have let if ripen on the tree, then shipped directly to you. I love Miami fruit. I have it for myself, and I give it as gifts. Don’t wait for a special occasion. Give your love one the gift of Miami fruit, and you will live a lifetime in there memories. Joseph from Memphis

Got a box of Keitt mangoes. They arrived in great condition, still green. They were large, and delicious when ripened.
So far all the avocados have been large and tasteful. I've made avocado salade or eat them as a snack. By far the best I could get living in upstate New York.
You have ruined supermarket avocados for us forever! Not sure we will be able to go back.

They taste waaay better than those in Whole Foods markets. One batch I got even has a hint of sweetness, very pleasantly surprised.
My avocados arrived promptly and were in perfect shape. They have been excellent. I am fond of the big Florida avocados which are milder and sweeter than the Hass type.
We love Florida avocados...especially the varieties that Miami Fruit grows and ships. These avocados are less in oil content than the Hass varieties and hence, 'satisfies' my tummy better than some of the other varieties. They arrived well packed and timely after my order. I will have to order more...
Never met an avocado I didn't love. Hass is the only variety available where I live so I love getting these tropical varieties!!
Got one box of avocados for the holidays, we are now subscribing. The avocados are of different varieties, but are generally much larger than Hass. You will have to be patient to wait for them to ripen, but after a week or so we have a ripe avocado a day. One in particular was the best I’ve ever had. I wish they could tell you which kind we received.
