Flavor Profile: Monstera Deliciosa has a delicious pineapple flavor similar to candy. It's nice and juicy with a mango/pineapple-like texture. It is sweet and tangy!
How To Eat: This delicious fruit starts to ripen at the stalk-end first, and slowly ripens all the way to the tip of the fruit, in segments. We recommend placing the fruit tip-down in a jar or glass, then allowing it to ripen on a counter. MAKE SURE TO ONLY EAT WHEN RIPE. The scales will begin to loosen and fall off. The fruit will be soft. You may be only able to eat a small section per day while it is ripening.
This fruit can cause extreme irritation to the throat if consumed before the scales fall off naturally, on their own.

Have ordered here several times and the produce has always been delicious. My mother is always excited for her boxes. I’ve ordered three times already in the last two weeks! I prefer this online exotic fruit store over other that I have tried in the past. I hope that they have fresh lanzones next year!

There was a bit of a history for myself and a friend, we had discovered this fruits existance before travelling to a few country's known to have this growing. We even found the fruit locally growing twice, one step further we were given permission to take one from the plant. The local people did not know this to be a fruit just a plant and said it was not to eat. We of course know different but it was still not season of harvest, and such we never were able to indulge. I found this place miami fruit, being in canada of course I expected a high cost. It was of course a high cost but none the less it was worth every penny spent for this legendary fruit. If you are on the fence go for it you will not regret. I had invited my friend over and we were both able to taste the amazing flavour after many years and attempts. If you are canadian, plan to broker it across the border, and intend for it to hit inspection and be held. Miami fruit labelled it as a plant, that pulled instant red flags for canadian customs. They contacted me and I explained to them, it is a harvested fruit from the plant. Once they understood that and verified it, on the way it went and I received it promply. Monsterra takes a long time to ripen so this is never a worry for a hangup. In the end im happy and enjoying the fruit even at the cost, but for myself it will be very few and far between, due to the extreme costs by the time it hits your hands in canada orders can get up there.

First, this is one of the most delicious fruits I have ever eaten!!! It's a little nerve racking waiting for the scales to fall off, but when they do. It's a cross between, pineapple, banana, mango and white grape. I was concerned that I ordered the fruit last year and it takes this long to receive, but then I learned it takes a year to grow. This is a MUST try fruit.
Delicious & worth a try!!! Soo tropical and tastes like a mixture of pineapple and mango and hints of kiwi! Loved it and will definitely have it again. One of my fruit had a good amount of seeds in it, so I was able to save and grow them! I have 3 growing in the pics seen and 1 more that’s been growing slow but getting there(: so anything’s possible!
This awesome fruit is the absolutely best thing I’ve ever ate. I will definitely be ordering this again immediately, asap, and stat.

What a delight! I love trying new fruits, so I couldn't resist this, even though it meant waiting 11 months after I placed my order. Tasty and just plain fun. Got 4 fruits, eating them a little bit at a time as they ripen. Not sure I'd make this a regular order but it was absolutely worth every penny for the curiosity and delight. Will consider buying for friends who like trying new things and don't need more "stuff."

Possibly the most delicious fruit I’ve ever had. Waited for the scales to fall off and be properly ripe- tasted like pineapple, mango, passion fruit, and maybe a bit of vanilla and textured like a soft pineapple. Even my incredibly picky grandfather and cousin liked it!

Received two large cones in the small box that ripened without rotting. Good tropical flavor almost like a soursop but in corn kernel form. It ripened about 1 inch per day.
Tried many fruits from Miami Fruit and this is my new favorite. Delicious! Tastes like a combo of mango, soursop, and pineapple. MAKE SURE to only eat when scales of fruit fall off by themselves (see photo). Eating unripe can irritate your mouth, throat, and stomach. I put in a plastic container and covered with plastic wrap and it ripened perfectly after a few days!

Wow- uniquely delicious! I received three fruits in the shipment. One began shedding "scales" within 24 hours of delivery; all of three were shedding within 48 hours. I tried a taste of the ripest fruit and the flavor did not disappoint. Similar to cherimoya, without the cloying sweetness, but retaining the mix of tropical flavors. Don't get me wrong, I love cherimoyas, but as an adult their sweetness can overpower the other flavors... These, on the other hand, have none of that, and are easier to eat as well.
I received 5 monstera fruits. They had an amazing scent of tutu-fruiti bubblegum as they ripened and tasted like a tangy multi fruit candy! I saved some seeds so I can plant them.
The fruit itself was good but they took forever to ripen and would only ripen a little at a time.

Strange and delicious absolutely a must try! Most fragrant fruit I have ordered from Miami fruit so far! The flavor is unreal and you don’t want to miss trying the unique fruit!
I received 2 huge Monstera fruits. One was already beginning to ripen, so I put them both on a paper plate & sat them on my kitchen counter. When it scales began to fall off, I took my 1st spoonful. An explosion of tart/sweet fruit covered my tongue, & I was transported to a Tropical oasis of Paradise!! I would describe this as the flavor of Juicy Fruit chewing gum, but with a tart zing, that is almost electric! You have to try this! The black specs of oxalic Acid weren’t a problem for me while I ate it. I do however recommend drinking more water then usual when you eat it. If not, as with citrus fruits, it could sting a little when you relive yourself if you don’t tolerate highly acidic fruit. Other then that, it is Amazing, & I will buy it again.
