Description

***Wax Jambu is currently available for Pre-Order. When placing a Pre-Order, this means the fruit you have ordered is not currently in season, or is extremely limited in season. Your pre-order holds your place in line on our wait list. When Wax Jambu comes into season and is ready to harvest from the trees, you will receive your order as soon as possible.***

Important Info:  Common names of the fruit include Wax Apple, Love Apple, Java Apple, Chomphu, Wax Jambu, Rose Apple, Bell Fruit, and Makopa. There are many varieties of Wax Jambu. We cannot guarantee you will receive any of the varieties pictured. We will ship all Wax Jambu varieties that are ready to harvest/available.

Origin: Wax Jambu is native to Philippines, India, Indonesia and Malaysia. We grow small amounts of Wax Jambu here in South Florida as well.

Flavor Profile: This pear-shaped fruit is crunchy like an apple, but has a very mild rose-like flavor.

How To Eat: Wax Jambu arrives ripe and ready to eat immediately upon arrival. Please consume or refrigerate right away for optimal experience. It is best eaten on its own, or added to salads for a faint, sweet flavor or crunchy texture.

First come first serve, any orders that can't be shipped this season will be reserved for next season.

The total weight of each box varies depending on the size, shape, and mass of the fruit:

  • Small Box contains up to 3-5 pounds
  • Large Box contains up to 8-10 pounds

We ALWAYS recommend ordering a LARGE BOX for the best value, when compared to a Small Box. Because shipping, handling, and delivery are so expensive per package, the Large Box will contain more fruit and ultimately a better value.

*CANNOT SHIP TO CALIFORNIA*

USDA restricts the shipment of Wax Jambu from Florida to California at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience.
