Description

***Red Caviar Lime is currently available for Pre-Order. When placing a Pre-Order, this means the fruit you have ordered is not currently in season, or is extremely limited in season. Your pre-order holds your place in line on our wait list. When  Red Caviar Lime comes into season and is ready to harvest from the trees, you will receive your order as soon as possible.***

Origin: Citrus australasica, or caviar lime, is a thorny shrub or small tree of lowland subtropical rainforest and rainforest. Our red finger limes are seeded and grown locally in South Florida and are used as garnish by chefs at fine dining restaurants.

Flavor Profile: The flavor is like a regular key lime and the texture is very similar to caviar. The pink and red caviar lime varieties in particular have notes of grapefruit which makes them have a slightly different flavor than other green caviar lime varieties.

How To Eat: Caviar Limes arrive ripe and ready to eat! Finger limes also known as (vegan caviar limes) are a delightfully delicious treat that make a super satisfying pop when squeezed. We love eating the little “pearls” as is but they also taste amazing on top of other fruits like watermelon and papaya. Please be sure to refrigerate your finger limes upon arrival if you are not planning to consume them all right away.

We currently offer two different red/pink caviar lime varieties. You will most likely receive a mix of both, but we will always send what we have available/in season that is red or pink inside which may vary because supply is limited.

First come first serve, any orders that can't be shipped this season will be reserved for next season.

The total weight of each box varies depending on the size, shape, and mass of the fruit:

  • One Fruit contains 1 piece of fruit (sizing varies)
  • Tester Box contains 200 grams
  • Small Box contains 400 grams
  • Large Box contains 800 grams

We ALWAYS recommend ordering a LARGE BOX for the best value, when compared to a Small Box. Because shipping, handling, and delivery are so expensive per package, the Large Box will contain more fruit and ultimately a better value.
