Local Soursop is currently available for Pre-Order. When placing a Pre-Order, this means the fruit you have ordered is not currently in season, or is extremely limited in season. Your pre-order holds your place in line on our wait list. When Local Soursop comes into season and is ready to harvest from the trees, you will receive your order as soon as possible.***

Origin: Soursop is a fruit native to South and Central America. It grows in the carribbean and very recently began growing in Miami. It is in the same genus, Annona, as Cherimoya and is in the Annonaceae family. This soursop grows in Miami and is very rare to find as there are not many fruiting soursop trees in South Florida.

Flavor Profile: The flavor has been described as a combination of strawberry and pineapple, with sour citrus flavor notes contrasting with an underlying creamy flavor reminiscent of coconut or banana.

How To Eat: Soursop may need a short period of time to ripen at room temperature (70 degrees or above) after delivery. Once it is soft all over from top to bottom, it is ready to eat. Once ripe, peel off skin or cut in half and enjoy the white flesh inside. Do not consume the seeds.

First come first serve, any orders that can't be shipped this season will be reserved for next season.

The total weight of each box varies depending on the size, shape, and mass of the fruit:

  • Small Box contains up to 3-5 pounds
  • Large Box contains up to 8-10 pounds

We ALWAYS recommend ordering a LARGE BOX for the best value, when compared to a Small Box. Because shipping, handling, and delivery are so expensive per package, the Large Box will contain more fruit and ultimately a better value.
