Description

***Angie Mango is currently available for Pre-Order. When placing a Pre-Order, this means the fruit you have ordered is not currently in season, or is extremely limited in season. Your pre-order holds your place in line on our wait list. When  Angie Mango comes into season and is ready to harvest from the trees, you will receive your order as soon as possible.***

Origin: The Angie cultivar was named after Angela Whitman, wife of William Francis Whitman Jr., who was a founder and 1st President of The Rare Fruit Council International, Inc. (RFCI), Miami. The trees are considered semi-dwarf and easy to manage through pruning. Angie mango was included as a Curator's Choice mango for the Fairchild Garden's 2010 mango festival.

Flavor Profile: The fruit is yellow to orange in color at maturity, and average weight is about 400 grams (14 oz). The flavor is rich and sweet.

How To Eat: This fruit should be left on a counter or in a pantry at room temperature of 70 degrees fahrenheit or above for optimal ripening. Once soft all over, cut into each cheek and spoon out the inner flesh!

First come first serve, any orders that can't be shipped this season will be reserved for next season.

The total weight of each box varies depending on the size, shape, and mass of the fruit:

  • Small Box contains up to 3-5 pounds
  • Large Box contains up to 8-10 pounds

We ALWAYS recommend ordering a LARGE BOX for the best value, when compared to a Small Box. Because shipping, handling, and delivery are so expensive per package, the Large Box will contain more fruit and ultimately a better value.
