Every week we harvest all of our fruit fresh and ship it directly to our customers. We always harvest a little extra in case we get last-minute orders that we can fulfill. The Leftovers Box will contain the leftover fruits from our Weekly harvest. This box was created to reduce waste and provide access to some of our fruit at a discount.
Fruits that could potentially be included are: bananas, mamey, avocado, guava, dragonfruit, passionfruit, kumquats, or other in season fruits.
This box will likely contain 1-3 different varieties of fruit, or it may contain more depending on what's available. If you want a wide variety of fruit, please order the Variety Box.
Each week our harvests vary, and we can NOT take special requests for this product, *not even for fruit allergies*.
We do not offer Refunds for Leftovers Boxes.

The total weight of the box varies depending on the size, shape, and mass of the fruit:
Small Box contains up to 3-5 pounds
Large Box contains up to 8-10 pounds
We ALWAYS recommend ordering a LARGE BOX for the best value, when compared to a Small Box. Because shipping, handling, and delivery are so expensive per package, the Large Box will contain more fruit and ultimately a better value.

I have been so pleased with the leftovers boxes that I decided to subscribe. It was already the best value for delicious fruit, but even more so with a subscription. The variety has been great and everything comes well packaged and in beautiful condition. We have only found a very few fruits we dislike and have gotten pretty lucky that our boxes have been 98% things we love. (But we never have trouble finding a friend who is overjoyed to get a piece of fruit they love even if we don’t). This box has a Mamey the size of a football in it and it is one of those fruits that is delicious, filling, and SO heavy. Some fruits have as much compost waste as they do edible fruit, but not the Mamey! When we get tired of eating it fresh from the fruit with a spoon, we are freezing it in chunks or trying it in recipes. We recently made a “chocolate pudding” with mostly just Mamey, unsweetened cacao, and chia seeds. The Mamey is so sweet that you don’t need any extra sweetener to offset the bitter cacao. Pure deliciousness! The leftovers boxes is described as having “1-3 varieties of fruit” but could be more depending on availability. 7 fruits here! 2 types of banana, sapodilla, avocado, dragon fruit, key limes, and the Mamey Sapote!
the leftovers box was amazing! the avocado was delicious, as were the bananas. I'm not sure what the green apple type fruit It had as well but it's one of the best things I've ever tasted.
🥑I have subscribed for a couple of years now, and this is my monthly box. This one was great, I had a long neck avocado that was eaten already, as well as a couple of dragon fruit and passionfruit. I like these fruit pretty ripe, I don’t believe you will be disappointed!!! 🍌
All the fruit was delicious but what made this box so great was having an opportunity to try tropical fruits that are new to me! My favorite was the Mamoy.
A great way to try a nice variety of fruit! I went with the March box, and ended up with some new to me - including a chocolate pudding fruit (very fun texture, almost fig-like in flavor) and a fresh mamey sapote (delicious all around).
I have been getting the leftover box for over 3 years now and I have never been disappointed. I cannot remember a time that at least 4 different types of fruit have been included, in fact one of my latest boxes had 6 different fruits and 3 varieties of bananas! For those people that love surprise box subscriptions and love trying new exotic fruits, like I do, this is the box for you! I included a collection pictures of random months that came in my box (large box).
Picture has the leftover box with the fruit from our build your own box as well. The leftover box came with such a beautiful variety of fruit at various stages of ripeness. We were able to eat some right away and then continue enjoying things as they became ripe over the next week. There was a considerable variety which was awesome. Some of what was included was dragon fruit, key limes, pink lemon, sapodilla's, mamey, bananas, etc. Very pleased with this box and will be happy to order it again!
Getting a surprise assortment of leftover fruit was so fun! We received some passionfruit, limes, and bananas. Everything was super fresh and came in great condition. Can't wait for the bananas to ripen!
I ordered my first box, a large “leftover” box and immediately started a subscription! It was packed full of a variety of different delicious fruits that I otherwise would never have tried living in MA. I appreciate the lower price point for the leftover box and the surprise of opening it to see what I got as it’s always different! Thanks Miami Fruit!
Got to try some things I never had before. Very cool. The White Guava and the Pomelo were excellent. Unfortunately I can’t eat Avocado so 5 pounds of my box made the neighbors very happy. I knew it was a risk I would get an Avocado but I got 3 enormous ones! Happy with the other stuff, however won’t order it again I’ll be more careful.
I have ordered about 5 Miami Fruit Boxes now. There has not been one that has disappointed. I really appreciate the freshness of the fruit, the variety and most of all the knowledge and exposure to tropical fruit experience. Thank you so much Miami Fruit Company.

🤩 I love this company, and its products!!! I add a lot of their fruit to smoothies, this pic has mamey and nispero sapotes in it, for natural sweetness, creaminess, and overall nutrition. Some fruit arrives ready, and others need to ripen. I am very happy with my leftovers box, which has also included banana, red and green caimito apples, key and regular limes, pineapple, cacao, kumquats, avocado, chocolate pudding fruit/sapote, canistel/egg fruit, passionfruit, jujubes, green mango, June plums/baby mango, tree tomato, blood oranges, and guanabana/soursop. If I forgot a few, sorry!!! 😊

The box came in nicely packed. The fact that its earth friendly is awesome. However, they need to put a list of what kind of fruits are in the box. I can figure some out based on looks. Other than that, everything looks great! Can’t wait for the other fruits to ripen.
I was so excited to finally get some fresh red pitaya, which I usually buy frozen for my smoothies. I also received a large, delicious avocado, and a variety of bananas, which I love.
In my early November box, I received pineapple, papaya, avocado, key limes, prickly pear, red dragon fruit and three types of bananas. It's a great variety and the fruits, even for those that can be bought in local markets taste better. All fruits ripen at different times so I can enjoy them for two weeks. Can't wait for my next box to arrive.
I began my monthly subscription of large boxes in November and one came within 4 days of ordering. Fruit came a little under ripen but it is good for shipping. Tried a red dragon fruit, a key lime and cactus pears right away and they are delicious. The only room to improve would be if the bananas can be labeled so I know which kinds to order in the next season. I love the surprise factor and the "save them from being wasted" mentality so the leftover box is right for me. Thank you Miami Fruit.
I loved the leftovers box! It was fun to see what was inside and I was really happy with the variety. Although most of the fruits I received can be purchased at my local grocery store, they did NOT taste the same… these were the most delicious mangoes and bananas I’ve ever had in the U.S.! Pictured is most of my small box, but I had already eaten a passion fruit and a banana before I took this. I am for sure sold… want to try allllll the fruits!
OMG! I am absolutely sure the mango with the arrow was an Orange Sherbet Mango. It was DIVINE!!! The other two mangos were good too and each one very different. The Sprouted coconut was also a great surprise in this box.
I am hooked! Never knew if be so obsessed with exotic fruit. A little pricey but the leftover box really gives you the best of both worlds at a slightly more reasonable price.
I really enjoyed this leftover box! I was hoping it contained a cocoa pod, but maybe next time. My husband eagerly awaits the package 📦 and is the first to open and try everything inside...even though it's my box!🤣
