Origin: Pedalai (Artocarpus sericicarpus) is native to Malaysia, the Philippines and Indonesia.
Flavor Profile: This fruit is red to orange, hairy, and about the size of a softball. It has a white, sweet pulp and edible seeds that can be eaten like peanuts. Some say the Pedalai tastes like a combination of marang and mango.
How To Eat: Peel open the fruit with your hands, and enjoy the succulent pods inside. Each fruit is expected to contain approximately 20-40 seeds inside.
*Please note: This fruit can come with latex on its exterior. This happens during harvesting, is entirely natural, and does not affect the fruit quality.
Each order will come with 1 Pedalai fruit.
