I throughly enjoyed the sprouted coconuts I received. I do want to point out two issues with the coconuts. I ordered the coconuts with the husk removed. Where the sprout was, on the top, the coconut had began to turn brown and shriveled on the inside of the coconut, which I had to cut off an inch or so. And, the coconuts were very small. All that aside, I would order them again, but with the husk on.

WOW! I've been wanting to try these since about 2007 but could never find any! I can't believe my dream finally came true!
I thought the meat would be firm, but it has a texture kind of like a magic eraser soaked in some seriously subtle but delicious coconut juice. The outside rind was salty but pleasantly so, and I ended up eating both of them before I could share with my friends because they were so good (sorry guys).
My first set arrived inedible, but the customer service response was GREAT! They were very quick to make it right, and impressively fast at getting new ones sent out to me. I couldn't ask for more. I wish I lived somewhere I could receive more than coconuts, I would buy one of everything!

Miami Fruit always arrives at peak freshness. Delicious product and well worth it.

The coconut order from Miami Fruit was properly packed and shipped and originally was procured to gift the four coconuts to relatives that were due to visit us and then break one open and try it in the 'here and now'. That never happened as a weather pattern precluded the visitation and I was left with the four sprouted coconuts. So, since I had a wheel barrow of potting soil already warm and in the heated garage, I simply planted them in the wheel barrow and one pot and gave them some water. The coconuts had already sprouted with the roots looking good and I felt that I had nothing to loose, since I wanted to try growing a coconut 'tree' anyway. So they sit inside our heated garage and under some grow lights that are illuminating some other tropical plants. I never did crack open any to eat, but may in a week or so, if the family can safely visit.

It was exciting tasting something new like a sprouted coconut.

The sprouted coconut was exactly what we were looking for. I’ve never had one but this satisfied my curiosity. It’s messy to open and really hard. Best to do it outside with a large strong knife.
Shipping was fast (considering the usps has been a mess lately). I will definitely be back to order more. Thank you for having an awesome shop!

It was amazing on how fluffy and light the inner core of the coconut is! Can’t wait to get these again!

Packed very well and arrived in great condition. Was super excited to try the sprouted coconuts and they did not disappoint! Definitely worth it for the experience with the added bonus of tasty coconut to munch on.

Lovely and complex taste and texture.
Buttery layer of coconut butter on-top of meat.
The cottony sprout ball is sometimes moist and a bit fermented,
which are my favorite ones, strong smelling and dense, some taste
like blue cheese, others yellow cake.

Ever since seeing sprouted coconuts on a episode of "Survivor Man", I have always wanted to eat one. I saw that they were on sale on Miami Fruit after watching a episode of "Weird Explorer" on Youtube. My order came quickly after I placed it with expedited shipping , about a week after ordering. I received 8 coconuts, 2 which were pre-husked , while the other 6 were semi-husked. The two that were pre-husked were sadly not good and had to be thrown away, while the other semi-husked ones were great. Husking them and splitting them was easy. It only required a Chinese butcher knife and after removing the husk all I did was smack the coconut around its equator until it broke in half. Inside the coconut there was some coconut water and the meat of the coconut which I discarded. What I wanted was that solidified piece of coconut cream, or what ever its made of. The outside layer was yellow and the inside was white, puffy and airy. It was semi-squishy like a sponge and slightly moist. The white part was great and tasted like spongy coconut meat. Its hard to describe, but to me it was like a coconut cookie that while moist, was also a bit crunchy and had a light, but noticeable coconut taste. The yellow part on the other hand was terrible. I don't know what it was, nor can I truly describe the taste, but that yellowed layer was not great. Over all, I had a great experience with sprouted coconuts and also a great experience with Miami Fruit and will be purchasing more exotic fruits in the future.
