Giving perishable gifts during the holidays is incredibly fun & unique!
Here are some tips from us to help in navigating any challenges.
- If you are sending someone a box of fresh fruit, make sure to track the delivery and advise the recipient to bring it inside and open it as soon as possible.
- If you are getting the fruit shipped to yourself to give in person, open the box and unpack the fruit box. You can re-pack it before you gift it to your loved one.
- It's best to give the gift of fruit as soon as possible, as some fruits may ripen quickly.
- For optimal ripening, fruits should be kept at a minimum temperature of 70 degrees Fahrenheit and require proper airflow.
