Have you heard the news? It's officially longan season in South Florida!
These delightful juicy fruits have a distinct and delicious flavor that's often compared to the taste of butterscotch candy. It's fascinating to note that they're actually closely related to both lychee and rambutan.
We are thankful for the bountiful crop of these scrumptious longans that our trees have gifted us.
If you haven't tried longan yet, now is the perfect time to pick up a box and experience their unique taste for yourself.
Longan is ready to eat as soon as it's harvested. We suggest eating your longans immediately and/or refrigerating any left overs.
