Green, unripe mangoes (also called raw mangoes) are harvested before they fully develop their natural sugars, giving them a crisp texture and tangy flavor. Unlike ripe mangoes, these tart beauties are more like a vegetable in taste, texture, and nutrition.
Packed with vitamin C and low in sugar, green mangoes are a refreshing and nutritious treat. They’re often enjoyed pickled, with salt, or in savory dishes.
