Ciruela season is almost here!
Our ciruela is grown on our small, sustainable farm in Homestead, Florida. Please note that we ship all ciruela when it's green and we cannot guarantee that it will ripen to a red color.
The ciruela fruit has juicy, fibrous flesh and a sweet-tart flavor. It tastes like a mix between a plum and a mango. The flavor profile may differ depending on the variety and ripeness of the fruit. Some ciruela can be more tart, while others can be sweeter.
Ciruela is best eaten fresh, either on its own or as an addition to fruit salads and desserts. They can also be used to make preserves, jams, and beverages like juices and smoothies.
Ciruela is more than just a delectable fruit - it's a powerhouse of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that can be an ample addition to your diet!
