Description

Origin: Wampee (clausena lansium) is native to Southeast Asia.

Flavor Profile: The flavor is sour and sweet. The skin is edible. This grape-like fruit is kind of similar to kumquat in that the skin is edible and it tastes sort of citrus-y although the texture of the inside is similar to grape or langsat.

How To Eat: There are multiple varieties of Wampee. Some are oval shaped and some are round. The size can vary greatly. We will send whatever variety is available and ready to harvest. Yellow means ripe. When they turn brown you need to eat quickly or refrigerate.

First come first serve, any orders that can't be shipped this season will be reserved for next season.

The total weight of each box varies depending on the size, shape, and mass of the fruit:

  • Small Box contains up to 3-5 pounds
  • Large Box contains up to 8-10 pounds

We ALWAYS recommend ordering a LARGE BOX for the best value, when compared to a Small Box. Because shipping, handling, and delivery are so expensive per package, the Large Box will contain more fruit and ultimately a better value.
